• Root Canal TreatmentWhen pain arises from a tooth, the tooth may have become infected and require root canal treatment. When we carry out root canal treatment, we first anaesthetize the tooth fully to ensure that the treatment is carried out comfortably. We then isolate the tooth with a rubber dam to ensure that the field is kept as sterile as possible and new bacteria contamination of the tooth by saliva is avoided.
• Dental Bridges Dental Bridges are false teeth that replace missing teeth by anchoring to one or two of the neighbouring teeth. The false tooth is known as the pontic and the anchoring teeth are known as abutments.We use modern flexible titanium rotary files to ensure that the canals are shaped efficiently. We only use our files once, in order to minimize fracture and reduce risk of cross infection.
• Oral Surgery / Dental Extractions Sometimes toothache can be so severe or a tooth so broken down, that you may decide you want the tooth removed. Our 24 Hour Emergency service is available 365 days a year and where possible we can arrange for immediate same day extraction of teeth, even difficult wisdom teeth extractions..
• Our dentists have the skills and experience in performing complex surgical extractions and our Oral Surgeon (Dr. Dejan Dragisic) is on the General Dental Council's specialist list for Oral Surgery.We are one of a few practices in the UK to have an in-house Sirona XG plus Digital Panoramic Scanner with Digital Transverse Slice Acquisition (TSA). This state of the art high tech machine allows us to obtain very accurate high definition cross-sectional images of the surgical site. With regards to wisdom tooth extractions and Implants, this machine allows much more accurate treatment planning and very precise surgical assessment.
