We are Far Cotton Dental Practice, a dental care center located in Northampton.

It is our philosophy at Far Cotton Dental Practice to promote good dental  health. We aim to do this by offering our patients encouragement, support and advice from a young age to help them achieve and maintain a healthy smile for life.There has been a Dental Practice here for many years and in 1989 having bought the practice, Mr de Bono took over as Practice Principal. Since then he has invested a great deal and made   vast improvements to transform the practice over the years.In particular the past use of a design consultant has made for interesting colour schemes of calming blues and mauves. Together with  excellent lighting, flooring and high quality equipment  we aim to provide  welcoming and safe surroundings for patients and staff. The treatment rooms are ground floor and are suitable for less abled patients, however our toilet facilities are located on the first floor and would not be suitable for the disabled.Together with a comfortable patient waiting area, the practice also has a designated childrens play area which proves very popular with families.Plans are under way for later in the Autumn to upgrade the Dental Equipment in Surgery One (our primary surgery). It will be the very latest in surgery design and will offer some of the best in patient comfort and infection control . We can't wait and we will keep patients up to date with developments so watch this space!

Prior to your first appointment you will be asked to fill out a medical history form. This helps ensure that before your dentist examines your mouth, he is aware of any important medical factors that could affect your treatment. Your dentist will discuss any important factors raised at your first visit.Your first appointment is a two way process where your dentist will discuss your concerns about your mouth. He will carry out an extensive examination with any appropriate x-rays, photographs and models. This ensures that the team has enough information to be able to produce a written treatment plan with cost estimates.If you are interested in cosmetic dentistry to improve the appearance of your teeth your dentist will be happy to discuss the options with you.Over the years we have developed experience in all aspects of dental care but for certain cases we may refer patients to specialist colleagues. We have developed good contacts within the profession and can offer referrals for treatments such as  implants and orthodontics. Here at Far Cotton Dental Practice we offer a comprehensive range of treatments including:

In addition to routine treatments the practice also  offers cosmetic dentistry and some special services including
