Acorn Dental Health, the practice has been established since the 1950's were it has a long standing tradition of providing good quality dentistry to the residence of Hedge End and the surrounding area. As Hedge End has expanded so the practice has grown and now treats patients from as far away as France and Spain.The practice is run by two husband and wife teams. Dr Nicholas Sherwin and Dr Sally McKinley, both dentists, and Dr Christopher Conner a dentist and Mrs Cheryl Conner a hygienist.Limited parking is provided to the rear of the property but spaces cannot be guaranteed.Dental hygiene is an important aspect of maintaining your oral health by helping preventing gum disease and reducing the need for fillings. Poor oral health is also a major course of bad breath and unsightly teeth. It is for these reasons we put great importance in this aspect of dentistry.        We have three Hygienists work at the practice that can offer a range of treatments from major periodontal treatment to routine maintenance and simple scale and polishes. Some limited appointment are also available on Saturday mornings.

Our aims and practice policy, in Acorn Dental Health is our aims to provide a high quality of dental treatment to our clients at affordable prices in a relaxed friendly environment.It is the policy of the practice for you to be seen by one dentist on a continuing basis. However, if this is not possible for any reason, suitable alternative arrangements will be made for you to see someone else.In line with our commitment to continual professional development, all our staff under go continual training, with each dentist completing a minimum of 50 hours of further professional education each year so as to be able to provide you with up to date treatment techniques.
